Rotarians distributed dictionaries to all of the 1300 third graders in St Tammany Parish during the month of October. A Rotarian visited each classroom, distributed the dictionaries to each individual, described the Rotary organization, had them read the Four Way Test of Rotary which is included inside the cover, and had them then look up the word "Beneficial" or the word "Service". To have some fun, the third graders looked up to longest word in the English language and other fun words. Many of the third grade teachers incorporate the dictionaries in their lessons.
