At the regular weekly meeting held on August 4, 2023, the Northlake Mandeville Rotary Club welcomed two of the 10 students who have received scholarships for the 2023-2024. Pictured are Isabella Kerth, a senior at LSU, Raina Generose, a freshman at Southeastern Louisiana, along with Doug Place, Scholarship Committee Co-Chair. Students compete for and are awarded a $12,000 scholarship. The winners receive $1,500 at the beginning of eight semesters. During the meeting, they report to the club on what they have been doing during the previous semester and then receive their check for the upcoming semester. All are outstanding students. We are so proud of each of them.
